Facility Maintenance and Engineering

Building Engineers are PMM's front line response team for problems, which may occur within the basic operation of their assigned buildings and designated areas. Our Engineering Division is comprised of engineers who are assigned a particular set of buildings to oversee. PMM Building Engineers perform routine and long-term preventive maintenance, on building systems to keep them at optimum operating levels. Also, PMM's personnel respond to emergency service calls such as no steam, vacuum, or compressed air, and various other calls, that may come in during the performance of their assigned duties.

PMM is dedicated to providing engineering and technical advice and support to our customers. PMM is led by experienced building engineers with extensive experience both in the engineering department and on PMM construction sites. We have worked on project teams which encompass civil and structural engineering for permanent designs to all types of facilities work as well as specialist advice in areas such as concrete technology and geotechnics.

Maintaining Facility Equipment and Systems

PMM Building Engineers provide service and related products that are essential to maintaining Steam Boilers, Vacuum Pumps, Water Softeners, Reverse Osmosis units, Air Compressors, Supply Fans, Heat Exchangers, Heat Circulating Pumps, Chilled Water Pumps and all underground High Temperature and Chilled Water Lines. PMM also maintains proper water chemistry of boilers.

We achieve our success through a long term, preventative maintenance program, complemented by a highly skilled group of engineers. PMM's building services personnel serve a wide variety of clients whose average length of time as a customer is over thirteen years.
